Dr. Tope Fapohunda, “Dr Tope” as she is fondly known by her patients is the CEO and Co-founder of Every Woman’s Ob-gyn LLC.  She became board certified in 2007 and became a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology shortly thereafter.  She has been a doctor for almost 20years  and has been in Henry County for almost 15 of those years.  During her time, she has served as a board member of several committees at Piedmont Henry and is well respected part of the community.

She is not only a doctor but another big part of her life is volunteerism and giving back to her community by helping feed the hungry and providing medical care to the underserved.  She regularly does medical mission trips to provide care to underserved and needy people in third world countries.  Her free time is spent with her children and family.

Kendra McLester, CNM excitedly joins Every Woman’s OB/GYN as a Certified Nurse Midwife that brings with her over twenty years of providing exceptional patient care in women’s health. Kendra is a native of Georgia and has practiced midwifery exclusively in East and South Georgia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Emory University, in Decatur, Georgia. It is there where she discovered her love of midwifery. Upon completion of nursing school and working in labor and delivery she attended midwifery school at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, South Carolina. Kendra is passionate about advocating for woman to make a truly informed decision about their lives and healthcare decision though education. She understands that pregnancy and childbirth can be a vulnerable experience and wants to provide a caring, supportive experience for patients and their families. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing yoga at a local studio, walking, and spending time with for her two fur babies Outlaw and Skittles. It is with great joy that we welcome her to our practice and look forward to serving the community of women and families in Henry and surrounding counties.
